Edelweiss Air Baggage Allowance Policy

The following baggage allowances and fees are applicable to travelers with an EconomyLight, an EconomyClassic, or an EconomyFlex ticket: every passenger is entitled to take one piece of hand baggage as part of the ticket price, with a maximum weight of 8 kg and the maximum sum of dimensions 55 cm x 40 cm x 23 cm . As a second piece, a laptop bag and/or a handbag may be taken, provided that the total of two baggage pieces does not exceed the limit of weight and dimensions established; the Flat Fee of CHF/EUR 50 for one piece of checked baggage that does not exceed the weight limit of 23 kg is applied to the passengers with Economy Light and EconomyClassic tickets; the maximum weight limit of 23 kg for an EconomyFlex ticket means the passengers receive one piece of checked baggage at no cost . In the case of the second piece of checked baggage for all EconomyLight, EconomyClassic, and EconomyFlex passengers, each piece of baggage will be assessed a Flat of Fee of CHF/EUR 50 with a 23 kg maximum limit; let’s remind that the airline reserves the right to decide whether to accept checked baggage due to load restrictions and in the case of specific aircraft types.
