Carry-on items are permitted one handbag and one additional article on Wingo flights at no extra cost. Handbags must fit underneath the seat before you, be no more than 11.8 x 15.7 x 3.9 inches (30 x 40 x 10 cm), and weigh less than 11 pounds (5 kg). Additional articles must go into overhead storage, be no larger than 22 x 14 x 9 inches (56 x 36 x 23 cm) and weigh under 22 pounds (10 kg). Combined, the handbag and extra article must not exceed 44 pounds (20 kg). Any item that does not meet these criteria cannot be brought on board and must be checked. Checked Baggage Wingo passengers can check at minimum one bag free of charge if it is under 62 linear inches (157 cm) and weighs less than 44 pounds (20 kg). Overweight baggage fees apply to any item that surpasses these limits. Up to four (4) more bags can be checked for a charge of approximately $60 each depending on route and current fares. Local overweight baggage charges may apply at some airports for checked luggage. For bulky things such as surfboards, kayaks, and bicycles, special arrangements must be made ahead of time. For travelers flying with a pet, a pet carrier or kennel may count as part of the Passenger's checked baggage allowance.
