Tarom Baggage Allowance Policy

Carry-On Baggage- One piece of carry-on baggage may be brought on board with Tarom passengers, plus every passenger may take an additional personal item, such as a handbag, briefcase, laptop bag, or camera case. Passengers’ carry-on luggage should be of the following dimensions—55cm x 40 cm x 20 cm . Concerning weight, the carry-on bag must not exceed 10 kg . No strictly specified weigh regarding personal items available. Checked Baggage- Passengers are allowed to bring large checked baggage with them on their flight on board. A certain number of such baggage, however, depends on the type of the ticket and the available space on the plane. Economy ticket passengers may take one piece of checked baggage, which is defined as no more than 158cm (65 inches) x 119cm (47 inches) x 31cm (12 inches) and no more than 23kg in weight . Waterbird ticket passengers may take up to three pieces of checked baggage, each of the above dimension, and weight. In addition, one collapsible stroller and/or baby car seat per passengers will be brought aboard at no additional charge. All sports equipment, including skis and golf equipment, may be carried onto the aircraft with Taromas well . There may be additional fees. Both of these items were the exception, as well as firearms and liquid nitrogen. Special approval was required for the latter, and only checked baggage was allowed.
