Increased Airfares: Due to high demand, airfares to Prayagraj have risen significantly. For instance, one-way fares from Bengaluru have increased by 89% to ₹11,158, and from Ahmedabad by 41% to ₹10,364. Travelers are advised to book flights well in advance to secure better rates.

Check-In and Boarding Procedures

  • To ensure a smooth travel experience, SpiceJet has implemented the following procedures:
  • Web Check-In:Passengers are encouraged to complete web check-in via SpiceJet's website or mobile app. Web check-in for domestic flights is available from the booking time until 60 minutes prior to departure. For international flights departing from India, it is available between 48 hours and 75 minutes prior to departure. A facilitation fee applies for assistance with check-in or re-issuance of boarding passes through Reservations.
  • Airport Arrival: Passengers should arrive at the airport at least 2 hours prior to departure. Baggage drop closes 60 minutes before departure, and boarding gates close 20 minutes prior to departure. A green status on the Aarogya Setu app is mandatory for airport entry, with exceptions for children below 14 years of age.

In-Flight Services

  • SpiceJet offers various in-flight services to enhance passenger comfort:
  • Meals and Beverages: Passengers can pre-book meals, sandwiches, and beverages at discounted rates through SpiceJet's website or mobile app. The on-board menu also offers a variety of ready-to-eat products, munchies, and beverages for purchase during the flight.

SpiceJet has recently introduced Ms. Pepper, an automated customer service accessible via WhatsApp. As a result, Spicjet has now become the first airline in India to provide check-in through WhatsApp.
