The passengers flying with SATA Air Açores make use of the following cabin baggage allowance: one bag has a maximum size of 54cm x 40cm x 20cm. Additionally, it is possible to take a personal item, in this case, a handbag, small backpack, or laptop. The allowed checked baggage is one piece per person, with a maximum size of 158cm , calculated as the sum of length + width + height, and weigh of 23 kg . Extra pieces can be bought at the airport with consideration of space. The checked baggage up to 23 kg is free, while in excess is paid at a special rate.
