Buta Airways permits passengers to check one bag weighing no less than 23 kg or 50 lbs. In addition to their checked bag, passengers are also permitted to carry one personal item on board but not a small purse, a briefcase, a laptop bag, and a small backpack. Any extra bag is charged as excess baggage. There is no weight limit for carry-on bags, as long as they meet the 55 cm x 40 cm x 20 cm dimensions.
