Air Rarotonga Baggage Allowance Policy

Air Rarotonga is very generous when it comes to its baggage allowance. Each passenger can have 1 checked bag, 1 carry-on, and personal items such as a purse or briefcase. The largest number of bags is that of a checked bag, whose maximal weight is 33 pounds/15 kilos, and its maximal linear dimension (height + width + depth) is 62 inches/157 cm. A single carry-on must weight a maximal of 17.6 pounds/8 kilos, and its maximal linear dimension is 22 inches/56cm. Personal items, such as purses or briefcases, must not exceed 9 pounds/4 kilos in weight and have 11 inches/28cm as the maximal linear dimension. Passenger bags must not exceed 44 pounds/20 kilos in total weight. All of the additional and excess baggage must be checked in. The excess checked bag fee here starts at $45 NZD per bag and goes up with the bag’s weight.
