Summit Air Baggage Allowance Policy

Baggage Allowance

Explore Summit Air web baggage-allowance services

Summit Air allows passengers flying domestically to check two bags free of charge, with certain size restrictions. Each checked bag is limited to 50 pounds or 23 kilograms in weight and cannot exceed 158 centimeters or 62 linear inches. In addition to their pair of stowed suitcases, travelers receive one carry-on complimentary. That overhead item is constrained to 11 kilograms or 25 pounds and must measure no more than 115 centimeters or 45 linear inches. Baggage exceeding those dimensions or masses may still travel, pending individual evaluation, but oversize surcharges starting at $25 Canadian dollars will be levied. Finally, all luggage submitted for transport must conform to standards enforced by Transport Canada.
