One checked bag is allowed per person. The checked baggage, which may not weigh more than 50 pounds, must not exceed the dimensions of 62 total linear inches . This includes the sum of the length + width + height of the baggage, not just one of the dimensions. One carry-on and one personal item is also permitted free of charge in addition to the checked baggage. A briefcase, purse, or laptop will be considered a personal item. The baggage fees are paid for an item larger than the limitations on dimensions that are placed on the checked baggage. Additional fees or restrictions are imposed on weapons, explosives, sports equipment, and other hazardous materials. Baggage exceeding these bounds or the weight minimum will be billed additional fees. Baggage that is oversized, overweight, or an additional bag is subject to additional fees.
