As mentioned earlier, each Mesa Airlines passenger is allowed to carry one carry-on bag and one personal item that may be carried into the cabin. Carry on should not be more than 45 linear inches, meaning the sum of length, width, and height. The personal item should not be more than 36 linear inches, inclusive of pockets and expansion. Passengers should be able to fit all items comfortably in the overhead bin or under the seat in front of the passenger. Each passenger is also entitled to checking two standard bags. The standard Baggage Allowance provisions to each passenger are: 50 pounds weight per bag and 62 linear inches in measurement per bag . $ 25.00 USD is charged on each bag of a traveler whose luggage exceeds; more so, on each bag that weighs more than 70pounds cost $ 75.00 USD . Checked bags for children under the age of two that are to be sat in the parent’s laps, and not in a seat of its own, shall not be charged. However, the baggage size and weight restrictions still apply.
