Yes. You can take musical instruments on board as part of your carry-on allowance, provided it meets Lion's carry-on restrictions. If the instrument exceeds a maximum of 115cm (length + width + height), it will be treated as checked baggage and not as carry-on.
Most Lion flights include one piece of checked baggage (per paying customer) of up to 20kg in Economy Class/Cabin Class and up to 30kg in Business Class/Premium Economy Class. Further details can be found in the terms and conditions of your ticket.
