LIAT allows its passengers free checked baggage allowance and, however, depending on the kind of a ticket type, it varies. Thus, Economy Class passengers are allowed one piece of checked baggage that should not exceed 20kg (44 lbs) as well as additional fees are implied for any further extra piece of baggage. Likewise, the additional fee applies to baggage being heavier than 20kg per any packed bag. Premium Plus Class passengers have a grand option of two piece of checked baggage with any bag being up to 23 kg (50lbs), and an additional scaled fee for further extra pieces of baggage check-in. Customers should remember that the size of their baggage should not exceed 150 cm in sum of length, width and height. LIAT additionally warns that some of the carried on board equipment such as bikes and surf above, as well as sport items, that do not fall under standard, will be subjected to an additional fee.
