China Airlines offers online check-in for most domestic flights departing within 24 hours. For domestic flights departing further in advance, your baggage must be checked at the ticket counter. Online check-in for international flights is available 24 hours before and for domestic flights 1 hour before departure. For codeshare flights, the foreign partner airline shall designate a time. To check in online, please enter your name and electronic ticket number or passport/ID number. You need to indicate the names of the departure city and destination, choose a seat, and receive a digital slip in your email or download it in Acrobat. Online check-in is also offered on mobile check-in, checking-in with the kiosk at an airport. Mobile check-in on devices running iOS and Android is allowed. The printed digital slip must be surrendered at the airport, and a valid identity document must be presented. The boarding card will be issued, and you can proceed through the check-in line.
