If you are going directly to the official website, then navigate to the "Online Check-in" section.
Enter your Passenger last name, Confirmation code -or- ticket number.
Avail any additional services as per your preference.
Print or download your boarding pass once it is generated.

Have your travel documents ready and also make sure that they are all valid and recent
Review American Airlines’s baggage policies and any other requirements.
Arrive at the airport with enough time to handle any additional procedures or documentation. Preferably, arrive at airport at least 2 hrs before departure time for domestic flights and 3 hrs before departure time for international flights.
