AirBaltic, a company based in Riga, Latvia, has a good baggage policy. Each airBaltic flight includes two checked baggage with no additional fees, regardless of the ticket-type. The weight of each checked luggage is not more than 32 kg . You also are allowed to have one hand luggage with weight of 8 kg and one smaller personal item – 3kg in addition to two checked bags. Any additional checked bag is liable to fees. On flights between Riga and St. Petersburg, you are allowed to have an item of sports equipment as one of your checked bags for an additional fee . If you travel with a musical instrument, you can check in only one musical instrument free of charge with checking in electric-battery-powered musical instruments with a mute or silent mode.
